Privacy-respecting by design

This site uses basic, first-party analytics so I can understand interest in my work — roughly where visitors are, whether they've been here before, and which sections they look at. That's it.

Specifically, I collect an approximate location (city and country, derived from your IP address on the server — never precise GPS location), an anonymous visit count stored in a first-party cookie with a random id (no name, no email, nothing that identifies you), and which sections of the page you view.

I do not collect precise location, sell or share data, or load any third-party advertising or cross-site trackers. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics ping is skipped entirely — the site works exactly the same.
